This Sunday at your August farmers market

This weekend’s market will be the last for the winter months so ride out the final weeks of cold weather with some home-made soup, a coffee and a hot cooked breakfast while filling your basket with fresh local produce.

This will be the last market for the MacKillop College students' Western Front soup fundraiser, or make your own with some wonderful pumpkins available from Kingfisher Citrus.

Your one stop shop for brekkie and morning tea

Skip breakfast at home and tuck into a hot cooked breakfast prepared by the Sunrise Rotary group, washed down with a coffee or freshly squeezed juice. Once your basket is full, why not sit down to a fresh soup, a hot home-made pie, cake or slice. There's plenty to nibble on at your local farmers market!

Sunday's market runs from 9am until 1pm.

Supporting local community groups

Each month we collect voluntary gold coin donations at the entry to the market. This month part of the takings go to the Swan Hill North Kindergarten to buy new educational equipment and toys for the 4-year-olds who attend kinder. Donations are voluntary but for those who choose to donate this weekend, now you know where your money will be going. Thanks in advance.

If you are a part of a community group that could be interested in participating at the Swan Hill Farmers Market please get in touch with us or come and say hello at the admin desk this Sunday.

Feeling lucky?

For every gold coin donation collected at the entry points to the market you will receive a ticket for our lucky gate prize which will be drawn at 10.30 am.

The winner must be present at 10.30 to collect the prize which will be a wonderful hamper of produce from the stallholders.

The Happy Wanderers Old Time Band will bring the tunes this weekend, so come down for a boogie. Last time the Happy Wanderers were at the market there was plenty of foot tapping.

Don't know their stuff? Check out the video above that we put together.
